Approach

Supporting children and families through a play and routines-based approach.

Focusing on developing skills within naturally occurring routines and environments.

Establishing positive relationships and connections as a fundamental aspect of a child's learning and development.

Melissa Neal, M.Ed, R.Psych

On my journey to becoming a psychologist, I have spent 20 years working with children and families across Canada and the United States in various roles and environments, including homes, schools, daycares, recreational and expressive arts programs, neuromotor and sensory clinics, and therapeutic early intervention programs.

I enjoy connecting with children and caregivers through play, creativity, and curiosity.

I hold a Master’s in Educational Psychology and am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
